The Fibrillated PP String Wound Filter Cartridge is wound using fibrillated (split-film) polypropylene film yarn. Unlike short spun staple fibers, fibrillated yarns consist of continuous film tapes split into interconnected mesh networks. This structure virtually eliminates fiber shedding or media migration into pure fluids and offers superior tensile strength under pump pressure surges or flow fluctuations.
