The AT12-3TP operates on DC12V / 1.2A, while the AT24-3TP operates on DC24V / 1A. Both models use a 3-wire DC power configuration that enables switch-based open and close control.

3-Wire DC Control System

The actuator operates using a 3-wire DC configuration:

• Red: DC 12V/24V (+)

• Black: DC 0V (–)

• White: Switch signal

Control Logic:

• Switch ON → Valve Opens

• Switch OFF → Valve Closes

This simple configuration allows easy integration with switches, relays, or PLC control systems.

Open/Close Indication

Valve position can be visually confirmed by the direction of the manual handle:

• Valve Open: The handle aligns with the piping direction.

• Valve Closed: The handle is perpendicular to the piping direction.

This mechanical indication provides intuitive confirmation of valve status.

Manual Operation

For maintenance or emergency situations:

• Press the manual button.

• Turn the manual handle simultaneously to open or close the valve.

This ensures reliable manual control without damaging internal components.

Installation Guidelines

1. Install the actuator vertically onto a valve already fixed in the pipeline.

2. Follow the electrical wiring diagram and connect correctly.

3. When configuring a Valcon control system, refer to compatible control modules (not applicable for DC24V control references).

4. Install a power switch or disconnecting device for emergency shut-off.

5. Attach an overcurrent protection device to protect the circuit.

• Do not submerge the actuator in water, as this may cause malfunction or electric shock.

• Avoid impact damage and exposure to fire or explosion hazards.

• Do not operate the actuator in the opposite direction before the previous operation has fully completed, as this may shorten service life.

• Insulate unused wires properly to prevent short circuits.

• Storage and transportation temperature range: -25°C to 55°C.
