Product Overview

The AT12-2TP operates on DC12V / 1.2A, and the AT24-2TP operates on DC24V / 1A. Both models use a simple 2-wire DC power configuration for open and close control.

2-Wire DC Control System

The actuator operates using a 2-wire DC power configuration:

• Red: DC 12/24V (+)

• Black: DC 0V (–)

Control Logic:

• Standard polarity → Close

• Reverse polarity → Open

This simple wiring method allows easy integration into relay panels, controllers, or automated systems.

Open/Close Indication

Valve position can be confirmed by observing the direction of the handle:

• Valve Open: The handle aligns with the piping direction.

• Valve Closed: The handle is perpendicular to the piping direction.

This intuitive mechanical indication enables quick visual confirmation of valve status.

Manual Operation

In case of power interruption or system maintenance:

• Press the manual button.

• Turn the manual handle simultaneously to open or close the valve.

This ensures safe and reliable manual operation without damaging internal components.

Installation Guidelines

1. Install the actuator vertically onto a valve already secured in the piping line.

2. Follow the electrical wiring diagram for proper connection.

3. When configuring with a Valcon control system, refer to compatible control modules (not applicable for DC24V control references).

4. Install a power switch or disconnecting device for emergency shut-off.

5. Attach an overcurrent protection device to safeguard the circuit.

Maintenance & Safety Precautions

• Do not submerge the actuator in water, as it may cause malfunction or electric shock.

• Avoid mechanical impact and exposure to fire or explosion hazards.

• Do not operate the actuator in the opposite direction before the previous operation is completed, as this may reduce service life.

• Insulate unused wires properly to prevent short circuits.

• Storage and transportation temperature range: -25°C to 55°C.
