Product Overview

The AT12-2TP operates on DC12V / 1.2A, and the AT24-2TP operates on DC24V / 1A. Both models use a simple 2-wire DC power connection system.

2-Wire DC Control System

The actuator uses a 2-wire DC power configuration:

• Red: DC 12/24V (+)

• Black: DC 0V (–)

Control Logic:

• Normal polarity → Close

• Reverse polarity → Open

This straightforward wiring system allows easy integration into control panels and automated systems.

Open/Close Indication

The valve position can be visually confirmed by the direction of the handle:

• Ball Valve Open: Handle direction aligns with the piping direction.

• Ball Valve Closed: Handle direction is perpendicular to the piping direction.

This intuitive mechanical indication ensures quick confirmation of valve status.

Manual Operation

In case of power interruption or maintenance, manual operation is available:

• Press the manual button.

• Turn the manual handle simultaneously to open or close the valve.

This design ensures emergency operability without damaging internal components.

Installation Guidelines

1. Install the actuator vertically onto the valve already fixed in the pipeline.

2. Follow the electrical wiring diagram and connect properly.

3. When configuring a Valcon control system, refer to the appropriate control modules for compatibility (not applicable for DC24V control references).

4. Install a power switch or disconnecting device for emergency shut-off.

5. Use an overcurrent protection device to safeguard the circuit.

Maintenance & Safety Precautions

• Do not submerge the actuator in water, as this may cause malfunction or electric shock.

• Avoid impact damage and exposure to fire or explosion hazards.

• Do not operate the actuator in the opposite direction before the previous operation has completed, as this may shorten its service life.

• Insulate unused wires properly to prevent short circuits.

• Storage and transportation temperature range: -25°C to 55°C.
