The AD12-3TC operates on DC12V (2A), while the AD24-3TC operates on DC24V (2A). Both models utilize a 3-wire DC contact control method, allowing the actuator to operate via switch-based control.
Max. Output Torque: 200 kgf·cm
Operating Time (90° rotation, no-load):
AD12-3TC: approx. 15 seconds
AD24-3TC: approx. 10 seconds
Mechanical Life: Approx. 40,000 cycles (may vary depending on usage environment)
Weight: Approx. 950 g
Power Consumption (No-load):
AD12-3TC: approx. 3.5W
AD24-3TC: approx. 4.5W
Standby Power: approx. 0.5W
The actuator closes clockwise and opens counter-clockwise (top view orientation). It is designed for indoor environments without condensation and operates within a temperature range of -15°C to 50°C (35–85% relative humidity).
The actuator can be assembled with:
Ball Valves: 32A, 40A, 50A
Butterfly Valve: 50A wafer type
Ball Valve
Operating Temperature: 0°C to 120°C
Application Fluid: Non-corrosive liquids and gases
Butterfly Valve
Operating Temperature: 0°C to 90°C
Application Fluid: Non-corrosive water and liquids
Maximum Operating Pressure: 10 kgf/cm² (142 PSI)
These specifications ensure stable performance in standard fluid control applications involving non-corrosive media.
The actuator uses a 3-wire DC power configuration:
Red: DC positive (+)
Black: DC negative (–)
White: Switch signal
Operating logic:
Switch ON → Valve Opens (○)
Switch OFF → Valve Closes (×)
Power Failure → Valve Closes automatically (fail-safe close)
This configuration allows easy integration with external switches, relay panels, or PLC-based control systems.
The actuator is equipped with a mechanical display window and a green indicator lamp for visual confirmation of valve position:
Open Position: Circle (○) displayed and green lamp ON
Closed Position: Cross (×) displayed and lamp OFF
This dual indication system ensures quick and intuitive monitoring in field installations.
For maintenance or emergency situations, a manual override lever is provided:
Pull the manual lever upward.
Rotate the actuator body clockwise (Open → Close) or counter-clockwise (Close → Open).
Important notes:
During manual operation, the display window and indicator lamp do not change position or status.
After manual operation, the fixing pin attached to the manual lever must be returned to its original position.
Install the actuator vertically on a valve already secured in the pipeline.
Follow the wiring diagram to ensure proper electrical connection.
For DC12V models, ensure a power supply of DC12V/3A or higher when integrating with compatible systems.
Install a disconnecting device or switch for emergency power-off.
Use an overcurrent protection device to safeguard the circuit.
When powering on for the first time after installation or after long inactivity, allow approximately 3 minutes for charging before operation. After performing an opening operation, wait at least 2 minutes before executing a closing operation to maintain stable performance and extend service life.
Do not submerge the actuator in water, as this may cause malfunction or electric shock.
Avoid impact damage and exposure to fire or explosion hazards.
Do not operate the actuator in the opposite direction before the previous operation has fully completed, as this may shorten its service life.
Storage and transportation temperature range: -25°C to 55°C.
Avoid operating in environments exceeding 65°C.
