The AD12-2TC operates on DC12V (2A), while the AD24-2TC operates on DC24V (2A). Both models utilize a 2-wire DC forward/reverse control system that allows opening and closing by simply reversing polarity.
Max. Output Torque: 200 kgf·cm
Operating Time (90°, No-load):
AD12-2TC: approx. 15 seconds
AD24-2TC: approx. 10 seconds
Mechanical Life: Approx. 40,000 cycles (may vary depending on operating conditions)
Weight: Approx. 950 g
Consumption Power (No-load):
AD12-2TC: approx. 3.5W
AD24-2TC: approx. 4.5W
Standby Power: approx. 0.5W
The actuator closes clockwise and opens counter-clockwise (top view orientation). It is designed for indoor environments without condensation and operates within a temperature range of -15°C to 50°C (35–85% RH).
The actuator can be combined with:
Ball Valves: 32A, 40A, 50A
Butterfly Valve: 50A wafer type
Ball Valve
Operating Temperature: 0°C to 120°C
Application Fluid: Non-corrosive liquids and gases
Butterfly Valve
Operating Temperature: 0°C to 90°C
Application Fluid: Non-corrosive water and liquids
Maximum Operating Pressure: 10 kgf/cm² (142 PSI)
These specifications allow reliable use in standard fluid distribution systems and non-corrosive industrial processes.
The actuator uses a simple 2-wire DC power connection:
Red (+), Black (–) → Close
Reverse polarity → Open
In the event of power failure, the actuator automatically moves to the Close position, providing a fail-safe safety function.
When powering on for the first time after installation or after long inactivity, the actuator requires approximately 3 minutes of charging before normal operation. After completing an opening operation, it is recommended to wait at least 2 minutes before performing a closing operation to maintain durability and stable performance.
The actuator features both a mechanical display window and an indicator lamp for clear status monitoring:
Open Position: A circle (○) appears and the green lamp turns ON
Closed Position: A cross (×) appears and the lamp turns OFF
This dual confirmation design allows easy visual inspection of valve status in industrial environments.
For emergency or maintenance situations, the actuator includes a manual lever system:
Pull the manual lever upward.
Rotate the actuator body clockwise (Open → Close) or counter-clockwise (Close → Open).
Important:
During manual operation, the display window and indicator lamp do not change status.
After manual operation, the fixing pin must be returned to its original position.
Install the actuator vertically on a valve already fixed in the piping line.
Follow the wiring diagram for correct electrical connection.
For DC12V systems, ensure a power supply of DC12V/3A or higher when integrating with compatible control systems.
Install a disconnecting device or switch for emergency power-off.
Use an overcurrent protection device to safeguard the circuit.
Do not submerge the actuator in water. Water exposure may cause malfunction or electric shock.
Avoid impact damage and fire or explosion hazards.
Do not operate the actuator in the opposite direction before the previous operation is completed, as this may shorten service life.
Storage and transportation temperature range: -25°C to 55°C.
Avoid operation in environments exceeding 65°C.
